I thought about adding this particular page to list the things I have been learning along with trying and testing my recipes.
Initially when I was taking a step forward to start a blog, I thought it was the easiest thing to do in this world and the only pre-requisite will be that you should know some basic cooking and a camera to take pictures. The day I stepped into this world of blogging, I could see how difficult and complicated it could get, especially you strive not only to put your best but also to stand my your self to keep up with this fast growing world.
I also started realizing that you could only achieve anything and everything by trying and keep trying and to never loose hope and also to put your best. When I say put your best, it does not mean that it should always be perfect to others eyes. Each step towards improvement is a big step forward.
First I wanted to have a blog to just list/keep safe my favorite recipes. But later so many things or many many things came into consideration, which can be taken as a positive approach to make yourself better in so many million ways. I should say that I got a little bit better in writing, taking pictures, organised, learning about food blogs, food websites, photography, creative writing, creating website which includes learning how to create a website and move from blog to website, how to customize etc., etc., Oh my God …I can go on and on….
I am creating this page and hoping to take it forward with few links with posts about what and how I learnt few/all things in and around my food website/blog.
The below links for now are not in order, it’s just my journey of learning to get better…
My First Photography Book: “Understanding Exposure by Brian Peterson“ I used to take food photos using Canon camera (I don’t even remember what camera it was :(), then when I realized in food blogging, food photography plays a major role, I invested in a good camera and bought OLYMPUS PEN EPL3 Micro Four Thirds Camera (Which is also called as ‘PEN Lite’) and so bought this book to understand the basics of photography. To know more about the book you can click the link above to read.
My First Digital Camera: “OLYMPUS PEN EPL3” – I got this camera as I don’t like to carry or keep heavy cameras and lenses.
Photography Basics: This is a vast topic which does not only cover the basics of photography but also about what you should know before even taking a picture. I am trying to split it into parts to explain each topic in detail as per my knowledge. Hope this helps newbies like me.
